Payment to turbotax

When I originally filed the payment to turbo tax was supposed to be taken from my refund which it was and now I’m getting a bill from TurboTax that they are going to charge my card the service fee and I don’t understand why if it was taken out from my refund ?

Did you already receive the federal tax refund and the TurboTax account fees plus the $40 service charge for that option were already deducted from the refund?

Ok ... you ASKED for the fees to be withheld from the federal refund and the processing bank would do that happily (for an extra fee) when the refund is released to them  however the IRS has not released the refund yet and since it has been delayed the contract you signed gives the processing bank the right to debit your account for the TT fees.  You are sent 3 warning emails alerting you to this situation and the final one saying  it is happening.  If you want the debit to be postponed then the first 3 emails told you how to do it.

Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the TT fees out again ... just the processing fee will be withheld.

Yes months ago I received my refund and same thing happened to my boyfriend

This does not help clarify why if I elected to have it drafted from my return? Why am I getting charged again?

I do not have enough funds to spare this money due to Covid-19 hardship.

Please do not draft from my bank account right now. I can not afford any monies to spare.
