Please explain how the estimated tax payments work. Will the IRS automatically debit by bank account per the estimated slips in my filed return? Normally I set up a schedule with EFTPS. Will I see the schedule on my account there?

Those Forms 1040-ES are for your use only and are not reported to the IRS. You can continue to use EFPTS for your estimated tax payments.
1) Got a second reply with detailed instructions on how to change the Turbo Tax estimated forms to be what I would use. I assume that means the vouchers are filed.
2) Under Print Center, if I select "All official forms required for filing," get estimated vouchers. I assume that means the vouchers are sent.
My guess is you are correct but how do you know for sure?

The Form 1040-ES were NOT sent to the IRS by TurboTax. Only you can print and mail the Form 1040-ES with your estimated tax payment. If you do not use the Form 1040-ES, the IRS does not even know they exist.
