PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

Just found this out this morning after calling and speaking with Santa Barbara several times and turbo tax giving standard answers I to have a DDD OF 2/24 and opted in for the 5 days early since we chose that option they sent us through another bank called Cross River Bank and who knows what their fees are?

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

Well, mine shows 02/26 on my transcript so if I get it on that day the better not charge me those $25 that I signed up for to get it 5 days earlier cause I would pissed

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

If you choose to receive your federal tax refund through the TurboTax 5 Days Early service and your refund is deposited into your selected bank account less than 5 days before the IRS refund settlement date (the date it would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly), then you will not be charged the 5 Days Early fee. Excludes TurboTax Business products and services. Limitations apply. See Terms of Service for

To qualify for the Five Day Early Refund Delivery Guarantee, you must file your individual tax return through TurboTax, choose to receive your federal refund with the Five Days Early Service when filing your return, and be eligible for the Five Days Early Service. You will not be eligible to receive your refund with the Five Days Early Service if (1) you take a Refund Advance loan, (2) IRS delays payment of your refund, (3) your bank’s policies do not allow for same-day payment processing, or (4) we determine that you are ineligible for other reasons in our sole discretion.

The TurboTax Five Day Early Refund Delivery Guarantee does not apply to Credit Karma’s up to 5 days early program which allows for your federal refund to be deposited into a Credit Karma MoneyTM checking or savings account up to 5 days earlier than standard tax refund electronic deposit. PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

Hi. I am in the same boat, my refund date is for the 26th and I was hoping to get it today. I spoke to turbo tax today and was told, if my refund isn't issued 5 days before the refund date(26th) they will automatically refund you the $25. Hope this helps.

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

I’m hoping they get deposited today! It would be such a relief but looks like they should get ready to do a bunch of 25$ refunds

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

How do you check through cross River Bank?

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

I guess we are waiting but as long as I get my money on the 24th then I’m fine!

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

Wait so if you use your refund to pay the fees , you're not eligible for the 5 days early? Wtf ? Why did they even give me that option after I chose to use my refund to pay the fees?

PATH Act & “5 Days Early”

No if you got the option you were eligible weather or not it happens is a whole different story
