So update on my end . My turbo tax page says eat date of delivery was today the 19th then it says they were unable to expedite my refund it don’t give a reason. It dose say I will not be charge for the five day early refund but I would like to know why they couldn’t do it .

It could be that your bank does not accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits.

That was my message today as well. Not going to be charged, est date 02/19/2025, couldn't expedite. But no reason as to why which is frustrating!

My tax refund transcript states 2/24. It’s now 2/19 I waited all day. Still have not gotten my refund and I paid for 5 days early. I’m just saying.

So what will happen now with my refund? If that is the case? I have chime so I thought they did have same day AHC deposits.

Hello, I filed on Jan22 with path and child credit . I signed up for 5 days early and checked where’s my refund today 2/19/25 and it hasn’t moved from the received box yet . I just received my direct deposit just now from turbo tax before the IRS even approved . So this is definitely legit .

The reason I’m doing it is because I checked these forums because  I’m always wanting to get my return as quick as possible. I’m definitely glad I spent the $20 or $25 whichever it was to get this early. It’s well worth it

So update my bank doesn’t take same day AHC transactions it says they will still take a couple of days to process. With they being said was my refund still deposited into my account? Dose anyone know I would assume so but I’m not sure.

I did receive mine today, it came this afternoon! In the bank! My transcripts said 2-24

Ok so for everyone that has the couldn’t expedite your refund but it was supposed to be today on the 19th. I spoke to someone at turbo tax your refund was still deposited but you have to wait for your bank to process it normally two days depending on your bank. You will not be charged for the five day early refund. But the good news is that we should get our refunds in couple days depending on your bank.

So there saying it’s because we had fees taken out of the refund instead of paying but idk if that’s true…I also got that same message so the 24th I should get it then oh well🤷🏻‍♀️
