Paid $25 to get my refund early this year but also claimed the ACTC?

The timing come from the IRS. See the IRS link below.

 If you selected the 5 Day Early option, you will get your refund 5 days earlier than the date you see on Where's My Refund.

Due to PATH Act, the IRS holds refunds for EITC/ACTC customers until March 3.

I’m in the same boat I paid the 25 dollars but AFTER i was already charged on my card. It said I’m not eligible for early refund….so how do I get refunded that 25 from turbo tax?

I always get mine around 2/26. Hopefully it’ll be the same again this year

I was literally just thinking this same thing! I'm in the exact same spot you're in. I don't think they had any business taking the $25 from anyone with EITC/CTC. I tried checking SBTPG a few minutes ago and I don't even pull up at all yet in that system..... The only good thing I've found so far is at least my tranny  is finally in my tax account! I'm just waiting on my 846 code.
