OTC Tax Adjustment
I received a tax adjustment from the Oklahoma Tax Commission for $10,000 more on Line 13 (Oklahoma Taxable Income). We reported $1,023.00 and they claim that it should be adjusted to $11,023.00. Now they say that we owe $363.00 in State Tax. Can you please help me? I can send you a copy of the Adjustment Letter that they sent me, if you need it.
Thank you,
Lori Miller

OTC Tax Adjustment
Do not try to send or post a letter that you received from the state to this user forum which is a public web site that can be seen by anyone using the internet.
TurboTax does not receive any information from the IRS or your state after your return was filed, so no one at TurboTax knows about a letter you received from the IRS or the state.

AUDIT SUPPORT
TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support. At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support". Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter. Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.

OTC Tax Adjustment
@Retiredtoad -without seeing the tax return, it's hard form anyone on these boards to determine the reason for the adjustment. However, if it is exactly $10,000 and it has to do with lines 1-12 (because those lines impact line 13), maybe just looking what line between Line 1 and 12 was adjusted will get you closer to the answer.
