I received the message Take Action: Your refund is delayed Reference code 1541. Never seen that in the history of filing my taxes ! Anybody else seen this?

Well only thing different on mines was my address and I add my other son that was born June 2018. So I don't really understand why I would be under a review if everyone is under a review

I haven't gotten any letters yet and they told me expect refund Feb 27 or call back if I don't receive it.

@sjmiller0323 I didn't know to mention hardship, it's like she didn't wanna talk to me anyway and I've only called the IRS twice since this started. The lady told me she see where I just called the IRS the day before and they pretty much told me what they know and there's nothing more they can do. I just need to wait on letter if I haven't received it by April 19th then give them a call. And also told me if I keep calling the IRS my return would be flagged wtf really? Everyone else here is getting results and answers but me.

So I also have the 1541/570 code that popped up on my transcripts on 2/16. This morning's update gave a 971 code that a letter was being sent, so I called. They said some of our wages aren't reporting but told me they didn't see anything that needed to be done on my end. So I guess I'm stuck until that letter gets here so I can see if they're requesting anything. Y'all, this doesn't make any sense that soooo many employers just didn't report ... there's no way that makes sense.

@toccorap29  I only called once and they had me verify everything and told me look for refund Feb 27 if I don't get it call back. So that's why I'm waiting to see if system will update this weekend. I don't want nag them

Ok so I called and tried to schedule an appointment with my local IRS office to provide my documents. The rep I spoke with was very nice and actually explained what was going on. Come to find out TurboTax submitted my last yr return instead of my current year so now I'll have to file an amendment return which I have all new income(not the same job) and that can take up to 16 weeks to process. So I will not be getting an update at all and I will not be using TurboTax anymore after this. So good luck to everyone I will not be commenting anymore and I appreciate all the feedback I did receive. @sjmiller0323 @greybessie isn't this something?

@toccorap29  are you sure it was TurboTax that submitted it that almost happened to me when I did mine I realized something did not look right so I went back and all my old stuff was in so I cleared it all and started over
