I go to the WMR site and it says We can not provide any info about your refund. To call IRS and give Ref# 9001 what does this mean

@stephen8335 Yes, they will absolutely send you a letter and there is nothing you can do to expedite ... I would make sure that the address they sent it to is correct though..I know of someone that left off a "SE" at the end of their street and never got their letter because they didnt confirm... Do not believe people that tell you not to call because it will "send a red flag"... Trust me the red flag is the 9001 code... You letter will come I'd say 14-28 days after receiving 9001 code..

@egotu1 I'm definitely going to call them next I'm on the phone now waiting to speak to a rep at the  number that's on the bottom of wmr. My 9001 code was placed on my account Feb 20th. Which I know that most of us filed earlier than me , but until I get the letter, verify, and recieve my refund, I'm going to keep calling lol

It's crazy the fight we have to put up to recieve money that is rightfully ours.

So I called the IRS spoke with a lady she told me no letter had been sent out at all, she gave me the verification  number,  I called the verification number spoke with a lady, she said it hadn't been 21 days for the letter to be sent . But she said she was going to work my case an send the letter to me today. All this back and forth is ridiculous.

I asked him what are they reviewing exactly he said wages income reported and then he asked me did I file self employed smh no I didn’t if he said he just looked at my account why tf he asking me did I file self employment I’m bout to say they can have that shit and I just start fuckin stripping
