Hi I mailed my refund to the IRS after doing my taxes through TurboTax. I’m not able to track my refund and would like to know how to find out the status.

I have tried to check it on the IRD website and it say it’s not available. Could you help me get ahold of someone and or possibly help me track the refund or when I might get my refund.

How long ago did you mail the return? (you mail the return, not the refund...the tax agency sends the refund)
Did you put any tracking on the envelope when you mailed it so you can see if it made it to the destination?

4 weeks after you print and mail it,  you can start checking IRS Where's my refund     <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.irs.gov/refunds">https://www.irs.gov/refunds</a>
Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual state tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end.  That was for federal and state combined.

note while you can start checking in 4 weeks from mailing,  if the IRS got your return after 3/31/19  it could be even longer.  6-8 weeks before the status shows up.  if not by then post back because we can show you how to find out if the IRS actually got your return.
