A month ago my refund was shown me 1541 status now it says We have received your tax return and it is being processed.what does this means?

@Valerienchet me too. There’s a lot of people in the same boat. Like @ughhhhhh704 got a date from his transcript but still wondering if WMR updated for them? I can’t get online to get a transcript so I had to order one in the mail

No update here either. NeedmoneyinAK, same here first year I've ever had an issue also first time filing so early. 1/28 accepted and approved

Someone in one of the other forums mentioned that they were told that everyone who filed with TurboTax or any other online entity instead of going in to sit down with a preparer was getting held and delayed. If this is true it’s ridiculous. I use turbo tax because I don’t have $4-500 to pay a preparer. I’ve used TurboTax faithfully since I started doing my taxes.

I've always used Turbotax. This is the first year I've ever had an issue but also the first time I've ever filed so early.1/28. I did get the letter over the wknd saying under review, wait 60 days from March 1 no need to act now. this tax year has been torture. I filed early cuz I need my money but I believe that caused the delay. The EITC/PATH is supposed to cut out fraud. Guess I'll wait impatiently

@catchup19# see every year I file early. Never had this issue. I never received a letter. I was told I was going to. They also told me I could get my refund before WMR gets updated.

Thanks @NeedmoneyinAK, gives me hope! I was told everything seemed okay. I may or may not get a letter. Got one Saturday saying they had to verify EITC but I need not take action. if after waiting 60 days my refund was not deposited call. but that i will  receive a partial or entire refund. I guess they're just making sure all the Ts are crossed. Hopefully it's not 60 days.
