No option for refund advance when i checkout

Hello I’m one of the first ones posting I waited until today like I’ve been reading and told when I called nothing someone said to start a new account new email new/different phone number I did that today and the advance option popped up. And I noticed also a question before you get checking your taxes for errors it asked if I wanted to know how to get my refund faster it was automatically marked NO of course I unchecked that and said yes I’m not sure if that was the issue that one question. And I wasn’t able to see that question by just going back and forth between how I wanted to pay and signing it’s before that portion. I hope that makes sense and or helps

That’s crazy. I don’t know what else to say. I just kept going back and forth until it finally gave me the option and that took 3 days of persistence. Turbo tax had no clue so they kept telling everyone to wait so they didn’t have to admit it was an error on their end. They are gonna notice a drop in their customers next year I bet if they don’t fix this.

My best guess is if you take the earned income credit for the child tax credit, those will not be available for a refund until mid february. So with turbotax rule have your refund needing to come in 21 days, it puts too much at risk for them. It would be well over twenty one days until we get our refund.

I get both and I never had an issue…I always got the advance even with the EIC and child credit. I honestly think it was because I was made to pay and there was something happening with the site. I had no issues whatsoever the second time…

Make sure to agree to all terms then the option will show up.  I had to make 3 different accts before realizing that. So make sure to agree with everything in the beginning.

Here are a couple things to check:

• If you are using a TurboTax partner affiliate link to use the software, the Refund Advance will not be available.
• If you select the 5 Day Early Refund Delivery, you will not see the Refund Advance option, but you can return to the refund selection page and find all the options listed.

Same! I got the advance last year, every year prior I did my taxes myself for 14.99 and never had an issue, Infigired with a birthday coming up the advance would be helpful…. IRS accepted and no advance, I would have never paid as much as I did had I known I wasn’t getting an advance, I even saw the approved amount and now it’s nowhere

Somewhere in the comments previous said to make a new account and long behold, I have the option for an advance now. I did however received an email from my old account saying it will hold the return for 48 hours to verify if it was me or not. I’m gonna give them a call tomorrow and update on what happens. Hopefully they’ll allow me to get my advance soon

I did not receive this option and its more than annoying its false advertisement. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We have paid money for service just to be lied to. I just looked at a recent years return and saw on the paperwork that your credit has never been a determining factor for this loan. It was the amount of your refund advance. I pray that we don't have to wait the full 21 days for this advance. Simply not fair as bad as some of us need funds right now. This issue should either be fixed or at the very least addressed.

I made a new account and used a different email but used my same phone number which is why I have to wait…

if you use a different email and phone number then it would go through…

I didn’t have the offer either and I’ve been doing it for years. My credit is better this year than last year. I’ve called credit karma and turbo tax and they said it was processing yesterday and should have the option sometime this week but that is so inconveniencing because I need it now.

Don’t guess. You all need to figure it out. That’s the whole reason we went through turbotax. I could’ve let my cousin finish up my taxes.
