No. Because you can not amend until the first original return is fully processed and you get the first refund (if you had a refund).

How about if My taxes were processed and accepted but an amendment was filed before I received my tax refund? Would this situation cause an issue?

No it shouldn't. They won't start Processing amended returns for a while.
