After your identity is proven how long does it take to get federa refund

I just found out through the Tax Advocate that my case wasn't closed properly when I verified with the IRS on 3/8. I called back and IRS verified and closed it so now it can process but now the 9 weeks starts ALL OVER from today. Beyond frustrating!

i just called back and she said if i dont get my refund by april 18 to call back and i verified on 2/14

I woke up this morning to a ddd of 3/27!! I verified 2/27. It took long enough

Finally got my transcripts only to find out that I will be receiving a letter because they need more information. I guess they are waiting for my employer to send in W2. I'll have to wait another 45 days until I get my refund back. This is so frustrating! I've been waiting since 2/19 that's when I verified!

@annamariejones89 I was hoping I would too. Reading all of the comments now its certain that deposit dates are on Wednesdays and the DDD comes by Saturday, which is a 4 day notice. Thanks for sharing.

I filed Feb 12 got my letter in the mail March 9, verified my identity over the phone March 13 got an update March 19 saying my refund had been received. Got another update March 22 with my ddd
