Will filing my taxes while being claimed interfere with the amount of money my mother gets back on her tax refund?
No, as long as you make sure you select "Someone else can claim me" and "Someone else will claim me" your filing will not affect the person claiming you. Their tax due or refund will be the same if you file or not.
