Need to access a previous year's .tax file

I did not save as PDF (terrible decision i will not make again) for 2022.  Now my state is sending me a letter of adjustments and only sent the new values so I need to open my .tax2022 file so I can compare to what was filed.  However, i no longer have the 2022 version installed and when I try to open the file it will simply use it to import into 2023 to start a new return.  I purchased from costco and the download link no longer works.  How can I open the .tax2022 file?

If you can't reinstall the program and don't want to buy it again you can try asking support for another download.  How to contact Turbo Tax

OR you could try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at

http://www.taxprinter.com

They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth.  They are not related to Turbo Tax.
