Accepted does not mean Approved.

Accepted only means the IRS verified some basic info on it so they know it's really from you.  After it is Accepted the IRS processes it then approves it before they send the refund.

 

The IRS is taking longer this year because of Covid-19.  Only the IRS can tell you when you get it.  IRS Where's my refund

Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual federal tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end.  That was for federal and state combined.

A tax return being accepted is only the first step in the process. It must be completely processed and approved by the IRS before they will send a refund. It will be sent in the way you directed it to be sent when you completed your tax return. You can't change it from the way you indicated on your return when it was filed.
