My issue with the 5 day early gurantee

I got my 846 code the other day with a DDD of 2/24. wmr hadnt updated yet but 2/19 would be the 5 day early date. Today, my WMR updated and TT shows "Your federal refund arrived 5 days early on 02/19!" which just isnt true. It feels and looks like turbotax is just trying to take the 25$. If they werent able to be ahead of WMR and get people their refunds 5 days early why offer it at all? 

Why would it say i received my refund 5 days early when i havent?

My issue with the 5 day early gurantee

You should get an email from TurboTax when your refund is on its way. Some didn't get an email until late in the day, but still got their deposit.

5 Days Early Option

 

If you don't get your deposit, there is a few reasons why that might happen.

 

  • Your refund was offset or differed from their estimated refund amount, bringing the refund amount below the minimum threshold or above the maximum. What is a refund offset?
  • Your bank wouldn't accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits, preventing Intuit from depositing your refund 5 days ahead of when the IRS would have deposited your refund.
  • The IRS didn't give Intuit 5 or more days of notice in advance. This stopped Intuit from meeting the up to 5 days early expectations.

If TurboTax is unable to deliver the refund up to 5 days early, your order will be canceled and you won't be charged the 5-Day Early fee. You will receive a follow-up email with a refund and timing update, and if any cancellation is applicable.

Same here they lied about 5 days earlier did my taxes on January 23rd here it is February 20th nothing yet. Want my money back from TurboTax.. want use them again

Idk.. my transcript date says “ 846 ( 2/24 ) turbo tax denied my 5 days in advance but they also didn’t take the money … I would call them

Hey Jasmine, I'm in the same situation my DDD is 2/24 was supposed to get it 5 days early but they sent an email saying I couldn't get it 5 days early and I bank with Chime, I was just wondering if you have heard anything about your deposit yet? When I call TurboTax they say my account is still pending because I asked for my fees to be taken out of my refund and I'll have to wait until 2/24 but it just makes me nervous because there's no way to track it like you can with Sbtpg which is the company T.T uses if you have fees taken out. Thanks for any info and I hope we get it soon🤞

Hey , idk why it made me make another email but I bank with chime as well … I also got fees taken out from my refund we definitely gotta wait til Monday because they don’t deposit in weekends

If they approved your refund , you’re gonna get it ! I’m not worried about it … I’m on the 2nd stage I’m just waiting for it to get sent . Once Wmr gets on the second bar they already went through and said “ everything is done right “
