My federal refund is not the correct amount

my federal refund hit my bank account today and it was 200 and some off of what it was supposed to be.

What time did it hit your account? What day did u file and was accepted and what was your est date of your refund?

The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.   

The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.

it hit my account this morning at around 5am and i filed around janurary 8th and it was estimated to hit february 7th so it was the right date just wrong amount
