My daughter turned 17 in Oct. of 2019 so does this mean no tax credit it is marked as other and my younger daughter is checked as a tax credit.

To get the child tax credit, a child must be UNDER the age of 17 at year end. Your 17 year old daughter would only qualify for the $500 credit. The younger daughter would qualify for a credit up to $2000.
Ok thanks that’s what I thought but 17 seemed like an odd age. Since they are still in high school and not an adult until 18.
Hell the could make it 15 to really screw tax payers.
