My amended return shows i owe both state and federal taxes. How do I pay them?

I had a refund when I first submitted earlier this year. My accepted amended return shows I owe now. I can't find where to pay these taxes I owe.

If you are mailing the amended tax return include a check for the amount owed with the mailed tax return.

If you are e-filing the amended return you can pay the taxes owed using the IRS payment website - https://www.irs.gov/payments

For the state tax return, if e-filed, go to your state tax authority website for how to pay the taxes owed online.
