How did the wrong amounts get entered? Were some of the tax documents imported from employers or financial institutions? Or were they entered manually? Before you file you always need to double (and triple) check all of the amounts entered into the software against the tax documents you have to make sure there are no mistakes, no misplaced decimals or extra or missing zeroes.
And...did the IRS change your refund? Did they send you a letter? Or are you now trying to amend? What is your question for the user forum?
