Minnesota Income Taxes for 2024

I rented for the entire year in Minnesota for the year 2024. I have already electronically filed both my Minnesota 2024 income taxes as well as my Federal 2024 income taxes using Turbotax online. I just read online that for renters for 2024 that the renters refund is supposed to have been done when I filed my Minnesota 2024 income taxes. I did not know that until just yesterday, February 10th, 2025. What do I need to do to get my 2024 Minnesota renters refund?

If you are eligible for the credit, and you already filed the Minnesota state return, you would need to amend the state return. 

Please wait until the original has been processed so the returns do not cross one-another in the system.
