Massachusetts State Audit

Is it possible to receive a State audit for having only Social Security income and take the standard deduction and filed electronically through Turbo Tax . My return was accepted.

Anything is possible. Sometimes audits are simply random and have no particular reason behind them. It may be just a case of data verification.
