Late Federal Tax Return Reason 2020

I'm officially 25 days out from my tax return being accepted. After struggling for hours to get through, I finally spoke to someone at the IRS. 

If you are filing and included that you didn't receive the stimulus payments last year, they're taking extra time to verify. The woman at the IRS said that they're estimating it could take up to 10 weeks to verify and get the tax return to those who filed for the rebate. 

She suggested that we check the IRS's Where's my Refund occasionally to see when there is an estimated date.
