I just received a late 1099-misc from a medical clinical trial my children are on. It is under my name as my children are minors. It is for $690. As my 2 children each earned $345. I have obviously already filed my taxes so do I need to amend now that I received this 1099 after the filing deadline? The date on the stamp is 4/14/22 but arrived today 4/18/22.

The filing deadline was extended until today, April 18. The Issuers of the form are past the deadline to send the form to you. Their deadline to file the 1099-MISC with the IRS was March 1, 2022 if filing the form on paper, or March 31 if filing electronically.
You do need to amend your return to add this additional income from the 1099-MISC. Here is a TurboTax help article with more information about amending a return.
Well that’s what I was worried about. Does this mean I have to amend my state and city taxes as well? Is there anything I can do as the company sent the 1099 so late?
Yes you will have to amend those as well since it is income and you will have to pay state taxes on it.
