The only way to get rid of the Self-Employed version is to Clear and Start Over. You will lose everything you have entered so far.
To take this step, click on My Account and choose Clear & Start Over. This step will not work if you have already registered your account or paid for the software. In that situation, the only way to get rid of the Self-Employed expense is to create an entirely new login. If you do that, you will lose your Tax Timeline.
Note that you will need the Self-Employed version if you have received a 1099-MISC with an entry in Box 7, even if you don't regard yourself as self-employed.
