Asking for Information on a Form I already Deleted

I accidentally filled out some of a 1099-Misc when I was supposed to file it under "Other Self-Employed Income". So I deleted the 1099-misc and filled out the "Other". But now when I get to the review section it keeps asking for information about the 1099-MISC which I ALREADY DELETED!!! I am unbelievably frustrated, why won't it go away? It has let me fill everything else fine the only "needs review" Item that it won't let me bypass is the 1099-MISC that I DELETED.

You may need to manually delete the form from your return.

  1. Open your return and on the menu bar on the left:
  2. Select Tax Tools
  3. On the drop-down select Tools
  4. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  5. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  6. Scroll down to the form you want to delete (Form 1099-MISC (Vendor))
  7. Select the Form
  8. Click on Delete

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

I deleted the form using these steps and it is still asking me questions about the form in review. What should I do?
