It been 16 weeks after my Amended return what happens now

I know that already today is the 16 week what happens now on the website it say it's still  Processing

Because it must be processed manually, and the IRS and states are understaffed.

Due to the rampant understaffing the IRS is taking longer to process amended returns ... expect it to take 16 weeks or longer to complete. If you want to to complain to someone contact your congress person and tell them to fund the IRS properly so things can be processed timely.

I’m in the same position. They told me to resend mine AGAIN. But I’ve been getting different answers on wether it will take 16 weeks again ooorrr some have said it should only take 30 days this time around. What about you??
