It appears that only my husbands state income tax total from his W-2 is included and we are filing jointly. How can I make updates/manually add mine?

It is causing turbotax to show we owe over 1300 for state taxes and state income tax comes out of every paycheck of mine.

Enter your W-2 the same way you entered his W-2, but assign it to yourself, not him.

Also, double-check your W-2 entry to be sure that you have indicated the correct state when entering the state income and withholdings.
