Is turbo tax holding stimulus checks after releasing a statement saying otherwise. Why is everyone else w DD date 4/30 recieving funds but not us?

TurboTax does not receive any type of tax refund, federal or state.  TurboTax does not and cannot legally receive any stimulus payment for any taxpayer.

TurboTax is a software company, not a bank.  TurboTax NEVER receives ANY money of any kind for a tax refund or stimulus payment.   That is between the IRS and whatever bank that processes the payment.

Turbo Tax has nothing to do with the stimulus payments.

And it's not April 30th yet. 

Technically, under Banking rules, the banks do get the information about any direct deposit up to two days before it actually has to be credited to your account.  That is the way Banking works under "NACHA" rules. (google it!) 

and SOME with an April 30th date may be getting notices from their banks that the money will be deposited on the 30th, but the customer still doesn't have access to the money until the 30th.
