That is not recommended and has a very high rate of failure.  Many banks will not accept a deposit if your name is not on the account.   If the bank refuses the deposit, it will go back to the IRS who would issue a check in the mail which takes several weeks.  

And although your relationship may currently be strong, that can sometimes change, and there's always a chance the account owner could keep or spend your refund.

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: Nope.  The bank will likely refuse, or the IRS will refuse if the names don't match.  And if it does go through, and your girlfriend doesn't give you the money, there is almost no way to get it back.
