A month after e-filing using Turbotax Home & Business, I received a direct deposit from the IRS for more than double what Turbotax's federal refund was supposed to be. I have received no correction info from the IRS. While I'm not complaining about the higher refund, I'm concerned that Turbotax's calculations were not correct. Any suggestions for finding out where the difference in calculations may be? Thanks.

No one can see your tax return, nor does TurboTax receive any information about your refund after you file the return, so all we can offer are guesses. Did you pay some estimated quarterly payments and forget to enter them when you prepared your tax return? Have you checked to see what it says in your online account with the IRS? Have you contacted the IRS to ask why they increased your refund?

To call the IRS:IRS: 800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Mon-Fri
Listen to each menu before making the selection.
First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions." It should then transfer you to an agent.
it may be easiest to review your tax return transcript even download it. it shows amounts per return and what the IRS computers say the numbers should be. this can be done online

or by using the online link (or filing form 4506-T) you'll get a copy of the transcript through the mail

When did you get the refund? The IRS will send you a letter explaining the change, but the letter usually comes two or three weeks after you get the refund. The simplest thing to do right now is just wait a few weeks until you get the IRS letter.
The IRS calls everything a calculation error. It doesn't mean that the TurboTax calculations were incorrect. It could have been that you entered something incorrectly, answered a question in TurboTax incorrectly, or omitted a deduction or credit that you are entitled to. You'll have a better idea when you get the IRS letter.
