IRS ADJUSTED REFUND AMOUNT

What does it mean when the total amount I was suppose to receive was adjusted and now it says total amount due.

does that mean I owe ? Or that’s the new amount I receive back ?

Where did you see that? On the IRS? Due means you now owe the IRS. They will send you a letter saying what they changed and a bill.

Yes I have an accountant friend who says the numbers don’t look correct.

owed $900 last year

$100 payment plan since September- February $600 paid.
