First make sure your e-file was accepted.

Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund. Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.
Your federal refund amount is on line 20 of your Form 1040

Or....did you file by mail? If so that is the problem. The IRS is not opening its mail or processing mailed returns right now so you will not see anything on the refund site.
I've done all of that. I did a paper check and cant find it anywhere.
It sounds like you did not file.
Did you e-file? Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?
https://www.irs.gov/refunds Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”
Note: If it says “Ready to Mail” or “Printed” that means YOU have to mail it yourself. TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.
So I was at work I had a tax friend do them for me. It says that my check has been printed and ready to mail but that is all it says when I log in. But on the IRS site when I put my SS# in it says it does not match. She did mail in my return. Should have done direct deposit but it did not happen that way. It's to late to change it now. I did get my state return by mail but have nor seen federal or stimulus.
She said she mailed it in. I just dont understand why the IRS hssbt sent me anything. Since I've already got a state refund why have I not gotten a stimulus?
@thunderalexander Your friend mailed your tax return? WITHOUT having you sign it? Did the friend forge your signature or send it in unsigned? Did she attach your W-2's and/or 1099's?
You have a couple of problems--but now you will know---If the return has no signature, eventually it is going to be sent back to you by the IRS and you will have to sign it. and mail it back to the IRS. But, the sad story of what has been happening with mailed federal returns:
MAILED RETURNS
Per the IRS website IRS Operations During COVID-19: Mission-critical functions continue: The IRS is not currently able to process individual paper tax returns. If you already have filed via paper but it has not yet been processed, do not file a second tax return or write to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return or your economic impact payment. Paper returns will be processed once processing centers are able to reopen.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.
TurboTax will not know anything about your mailed return, and will continue to show “Ready to Mail” on your account. TurboTax will not know that you put your tax return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox. TurboTax does not get updates on mailed (or e-filed) returns.
When the IRS finally opens its mail and begins to process mailed returns you can check the status on the IRS site. https://www.irs.gov/refunds
State returns have to be mailed to the state.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/20/politics/irs-mail-trailers-covid/index.html
Receiving your state refund has nothing at all to do with receiving the federal stimulus check.
The IRS can look at your 2018 or 2019 return to issue a stimulus check. If they do not have a 2018 return then you may be waiting for them to finish processing 2019 before they will be able to use it to issue your stimulus check.
TurboTax has no control over your stimulus check, nor can TT track it for you or tell you when the IRS will issue it. Refer to the sites linked below:

No she brought them to me at work and I signed them then she mailed them for me. I work from 7 am till 11 pm to 12 am depending on the night. So she was helping me. Not she did not forge anything.
Well---good. Then the signature will not delay anything more. You are just going to be waiting until someone at the IRS starts tackling those trailers full of mail with a letter opener. Sorry. All you can do is check the refund site from time to time and see if they have it yet. There has been no word on when the IRS will start processing mailed returns.
Thank you for showing me that information. It kinda helps me understand more. It's just hard when I am in need of it, even a stimulus would help right now.
