In your situation...you cannot stop what has already been e-filed and "accepted"....you proceed as follows.

1) you wait for any refund....or pay any balance due that was on the original tax filing.

2) Then, after #1 happens, you wait until at least March 1 to start your amended tax returns.  Why after 1 March? because all during February, there are a number of other forms that come out.....as-well-as tax form corrections.  Amending once is messy, amending twice is a nightmare.  So you must make sure you have no other changes to make that you

3) Then you "amend" your tax file (fed & state) to include that extra W-2.  Then PRINT it out, take it to the post office, and Mail it in on paper.  Yes...mail...and use a tracking method at the PO Service desk to prove you sent them.  Make sure you send each (fed & state) to each tax department's separate address.  Amended tax returns can take several months to process.

4)  there is a special selection on your selections page to AMEND.(look for it)......and the amend forms are not ready until mid-late Feb anyhow.  Keep checking here for when the detailed 2017 instructions are posted....but you shouldn't do anything now except to put your documents in a folder for later use....and print out your original forms now, so that you have a record of your original file.
