Your post is unclear. If your parent claimed you as a dependent and already e-filed, then if you say on your own return that no one else can claim you as a dependent, your own e-file will be rejected.
So.....we need to determine if your mom can claim you. If she can claim you, you must change your answer in MY INFO to say that someone else can claim you as a dependent, and then you can try again to e-file.
Here is the criteria your mother needs to use:
WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2024 tax return as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.
Related Information:
If your mother is the one who made a mistake and should not have claimed you, then Mom will need to amend her own return after it has been fully processed. If you cannot be claimed, you can say no one can claim you but you will now have to file by mail. You cannot e-file this year. Print, sign and date your return in ink, and mail it in. Waiting for Mom to amend will not help you to e-file.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
Return to the My Info section of TurboTax and check the box beside the indicator "I can be claimed as a dependent on another taxpayer's return". This should allow you to electronically file your return.
If you still get a rejection after doing this, the next step is to get your Identity Protection PIN or "IP PIN" from the IRS.
You can get the IP PIN HERE. If you are unable to obtain an IP PIN, or your return is rejected after entering it, you will need to print your return and file by mail.
