How do I find my tax return from last year if I no longer have the laptop that it was completed ?

If you used desktop software downloaded / installed from a CD then the tax files were only stored on the hard drive of that computer or any back up device you used. They are not stored online.

You can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $50, an actual copy.
