If my audience status on my IRS online account says refer to a letter do that mean I'm getting audited

How do you know if your getting aduited

IRS letter can freeze your refund until you respond as requested.

It is not an audiit.

IRS will tell you if you are being audited.

I meant to say when I check my IRS online account on the audit status tab it says (refer to letter sent

to me but I haven't received the letter

If the actual notice is not available to you online, you'll have to call IRS.
