If irs gives me a direct dep date is it done on that date

Yes, generally, if you are seeing a direct deposit date on the IRS site or through their phone system, you will receive your refund in your account on that date.

My IRS screen says by February 7th....Does this mean I will physically have it on the 7th, that it will be deposited on the night of the 6th or will it be deposited on the night of the 7th, to have it on the 8th.

Hello, I know this is a late response but I was wondering the same thing because mine says June 22nd so will it be available in the morning or will it be the morning of June 23rd? I figured you would be a good person to ask since it's past your date lol

It depends on when YOUR BANK acknowledges the deposit and posts it ... talk to your bank for their rules.  Bottom line is never spend it until you have it posted to your account.

First of all, This is a new forum layout. Some posts that have June 2019 dates are really older posts from the old forum that got moved over. So they might be for prior years and not current info. When they migrated over the dates got changed to June 2019. And the screen shots got deleted. 

Where does it say June 22?  At the IRS or on your Turbo Tax Account?  Turbo Tax just gives an estimated date and the IRS is taking a lot longer this year.
