If I took the standard deduction on my federal return, but want to see if it would be advantageous to itemize on the state return, how would I go about that in TurboTax?
If your state allows for Itemizing even if you took the Standard Deduction on your Federal return, TurboTax will automatically apply the type of deduction that offers the most tax benefit on your state return.
