We never received the 2nd stimulus and per the qualifications we should have and on the IRS site it even says we should have. I was under the impression that TT would walk me through this but I have gotten all the way to the end of the return and it has not come up. I purchase TT Premier addition and can not find where I am to put this information. Please advise.
Here’s how you can claim the Recovery Rebate Credit:
Enter all of your federal return information as you would normally. During the Federal Review, we’ll check if you meet eligibility requirements for the stimulus payment. If you meet the requirements, you'll see a Did you get a first or second stimulus? screen. We'll ask a few questions about any payments you've already received and then let you know if the Recovery Rebate Credit applies.
