If I filed with Turbo Tax...

how do I apply for a refund? I've been using this software for years, but I don't know how to apply for the advance?

As you complete the FILE tab, if you are eligible, an advance MAY be offered to you. You cannot apply for it.

Ohhhh so you have to do it before finishing the file?

@Toni93 Yes. You cannot do it after you have filed.
