A 2023 tax return can only be printed, signed, dated and mailed, it cannot be e-filed. You will also need to include copies of any 2023 W-2's and Form 1099's which have taxes withheld.

Yes-----e-filing is permanently closed for 2023 returns, so the only way to file is by mail. You have to pay your TurboTax fees, print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail the returns.
You will be able to access the 2023 return you started by using the exact same account and user ID that you used when you started it. But you can no longer use online software for any further changes.
Start a 2024 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
