How to Access an Expert for an Amendment

If you need expert help with your amendment, follow these general steps:

1. Log in to the same TurboTax account you used for your original return.
2. Navigate to the "Tax Home" screen, scroll to "Your tax returns & documents", and select the relevant tax year.
3. Choose the option to "Amend (change) return".
4. Once in the amendment flow, you will have the option to connect with a tax expert if you are using a Live product.
