How to Access an Expert for an Amendment
If you need expert help with your amendment, follow these general steps:
- Log in to the same TurboTax account you used for your original return.
- Navigate to the "Tax Home" screen, scroll to "Your tax returns & documents", and select the relevant tax year.
- Choose the option to "Amend (change) return".
- Once in the amendment flow, you will have the option to connect with a tax expert if you are using a Live product.
