I go to the WMR site and it says We can not provide any info about your refund. To call IRS and give Ref# 9001 what does this mean

I dont even have the 9001 code i filed on 2/2/19 and im still at 1 bar nothing has changed ordered my transcripts and nothing is there. So idk

The IRS is at an complete stand still, they stopped process on all returns(with EIC & ACTC). Some got processed and some didn't, my return never made it to processing. I'm waiting on an letter explaining why, all I can say is keep checking wmr. After calling the IRS so many times that can delay your refund as well.

I don’t even have those credits on my tax return. I called and they said mine was still processing and after the 21 day if nothing has changed to call back and see what’s going on. They are sending a lot of letters out bc of this code 9001.

No they didn’t say I’m just seeing a lot people post different things about them receiving letters regaurding there refunds.

I hate to say it, no offense to anyone BLAME YOUR PRESIDENT. That man wants his wall and if he don't have to, he's trying to keep all extra money for that reason. All the delays and identify verification didn't start until he came in. It didn't use to be this hard getting a tax return, he got the IRS thoroughly checking all returns. They said the shutdown wouldn't affect our taxes, but guess what it is. :'(

Update about letter received: Today I received letter from IRS thinking it's the letter they told me to look out for a week ago. Instead it's a letter about my transcript I ordered this past Saturday, stating "no record of return filed". That's simply proves the IRS only telling us anything to get us off the phone. So now it's a question we all have to ask ourselves, Am I gonna get me refund and if so when?

I received this code last year. It’s nothing you can do until you receive the letter in the mail and of course it was rat race because you have two options you can verify over phone or in person, over the phone didn’t work for me or many people. Now you have to schedule an appointment to go in person, identify your self they say it takes 6 weeks or whatever I don’t remember. I had corrections to make on my return so I had to amend it??? Which would take longer. Listen to everybody I waited around didn’t amend my taxes for two weeks because I was told to wait until I get the refund first.Wrong. I wasn’t getting anywhere so I amend my taxes sent them off NDA they received it the next day and released my funds that weekend.

I will be calling as soon as they open @toccorap29 on Tuesday. Another lady on here said she got an update and they will be DD hers on 2/21 and she had the same problem as me.
