I was approved for a refund advance and now it’s telling me I don’t qualify. I usually get the max amount for my advance. Is there something wrong with the advance?

you won't get the advance until the iRS accepts your return whic won't be until about 1/21/2024.  Right now it's sitting on Turbotax servers waiting for the iRS to open e-filing.

@Mike9241  I’m talking about the prequalify refund which I was approve for ($500..I usually get the maximum that is allowed of 4,000).

I had to make some changes to my refund then I went to review and finish and I was then told I did not qualify for advance refund.

only Turbotax can tell you the reason because we can't see your return.  However, as I stated earlier you have to wait until efiling opens (around 1/21/24) and the IRS accepts your return. Sometimes the Turbotax messages are somewhat cryptic.

did you read the criteria for refund advance

Ok ... sad to say ... if you do not accept the advance  offer the first time thru and complete the return and file it you will probably not get the  advance offer again if you go back and make changes... just how the system works.
