Irs accepted my return early

The irs accepted my return january 12th but it was said they wont accept returns until the 23rd im worried i dont get it

Every year the IRS processes some tax returns early to test their systems. They will not, however, pay out any refunds early. Not until after Jan 23.

YAY Me! Mine was accepted 01/13/17 2:04pm EST (or at least that when I got the email from TT).

Anyone able to track their delivery date on IRS website? Mine says they cannot provide any information on my refund. But then says if I filed a complete and accurate return then payment will be received in about 21 days after received blah blah blah...anyone else?

I got an acceptance 1/13/17 and an est. dd of 1/24-2/13

Yes same for mines, I haven't check IRS.gov yet, because early acceptance doesn't mean we will get the money sooner

Mine is showing up on where's my refund .. as accepted ... so yea there's hope ... lol , but why did they accept us ? Are we more less just early acceptance ??

Testing of the IRS system. Some new program they are running. I searched around I got 1000 different answers. Some say 3 to 5 days some say the day after opening day the deposit would be made. But TT said the from the 24 of Jan. No later then the 13 of Feb. I checked the IRS cite it said it was accepted the 24 would be 11 days after acceptance so cross your fingers either way I'm happy with Turbo Tax. Good luck.

If you filed early and took advantage of the child tax credit or the earned income tax credit you won't get your return til on or after February 15. It says it on the IRS website. Even if accepted early they are checking for fraud
