Irs accepted my return early

The irs accepted my return january 12th but it was said they wont accept returns until the 23rd im worried i dont get it

Every year the IRS processes some tax returns early to test their systems. They will not, however, pay out any refunds early. Not until after Jan 23.

Testing of the IRS system. Some new program they are running. I searched around I got 1000 different answers. Some say 3 to 5 days some say the day after opening day the deposit would be made. But TT said the from the 24 of Jan. No later then the 13 of Feb. I checked the IRS cite it said it was accepted the 24 would be 11 days after acceptance so cross your fingers either way I'm happy with Turbo Tax. Good luck.

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

    Mine was accepted on the 10th and nothing yet so only time will tell
