I want to make a change on my 2022 tax return. NOT Amend it as it has not been filed. Apparently, there is no "make changes in your tax return" button or link

I initially completed my return with 2 dependents. I never filed the return though. I just want to change my dependents from 2 to 1. There appears to be no easy or intuitive way of doing this.

Click "Add a State" to get back in to the return. You do not really have to add a state return, but that trick will let you get back in to make changes before you file. Do not click anything that says "amend." You can change/edit/add or delete dependents in My Info.
